Brant Hale Doubles Through Chris Bjorin

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw:

Brant Hale raised from the button. Jesse Martin folded his small blind. Chris Bjorin made it three bets from the big blind. With action back on Hale, he called.

Bjorin took one while Hale took two. Bjorin led out and Hale called.

On the second draw, Bjorin stood pat while Hale took one. Bjorin bet and Hale tanked for about a minute before calling, leaving only about 15,000 behind.

On the last draw, Bjorin stood pat again and Hale took one. Bjorin bet and Hale called for the rest of his stack. Bjorin showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} but Hale had drawn out. He showed {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a better eight-seven and that was good to earn the double through Bjorin.

Jesse Martin Bests Chris Bjorin

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw:

For the last couple of hands of A-5 Triple Draw, the pattern has been simple. Jesse Martin opens, Chris Bjorin defends, and at some point Martin takes down the hand without showdown. However this most recent hand was different.

Obst then drew two, Martin stood pat and Bjorin also drew two. It checked to Martin, who bet. Bjorin called and Obst folded.

Obst stood pat this time while Bjorin drew one. Both players checked and Martin won with a {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{a-}
