Scott Abrams Bests Two-Time Winner Phil Hellmuth

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

All-in player: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{5-}{q-}{2-} / {x-}
Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{10-}{k-}{4-} / {x-}
Abrams: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{a-}{q-}{9-} / {x-}

With action on sixth street, and one player all in, Hellmuth bet and Abrams called. Hellmuth checked seventh street.

"You can't bet here," said Hellmuth and Abrams checked behind.

Abrams showed {4-}{5-}{6-} for a nine-low and in typical Hellmuthian fashion, the 'Poker Brat' got to his feet exposing {2-}{6-}{7-} for a ten-low and waited to see what the all-in player showed.

The all-in player showed a {6-} and a {3-} meaning he was drawing to a live low to stay alive. But he paired with a {6-} and was eliminated.

"I thought you guys did all the numbers?" asked a noticeably irritated Hellmuth, "Then again, I've won this event three times."

"No wait, only two times," Hellmuth corrected himself.

"I have never won this event," said Abrams, "I'm looking for the first time ever!"
