Lakemeier Takes One Without Showdown

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Lakemeier: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{6-}{3-}{Q-} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {A-}{9-}{5-}{K-} / {x-}
Bojang: {x-}{x-} / {A-}{9-}{A-} — Folded

Jens Lakemeier completed and was three-bet by another player at the table. Ismael Bojang called as did Lakemeier.

On fourth street, Lakemeier bet. Both Bojang and the other player called. Lakemeier bet again on fifth, but this time the other player was his only caller.

"I need a drink," Bojang said as he folded.

Lakemeier bet on sixth again, and was called once more by his opponent.

On seventh, Lakemeier continued to fire, but this time his opponent dropped into the tank. He started to rub his temple, and chew at his finger, but eventually decided that folding was his best option, so the pot was awarded to Lakemeier.

"What a bad card," Bojang said about his runout. "He's never gonna get an ace, he's never gonna get a five," he continued, pointing at the other players at the table.
