John Griffin has climbed up into the chip lead after taking down a recent pot against Jeremiah Fitzpatrick.

With about 180,000 in the middle of a {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades} board, Griffin bet 150,000 and Fitzpatrick check-called.

The {2-Spades} completed the board and Griffin bet 175,000. Fitzpatrick went into the tank for a few moment before making the call.

Griffin tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a flopped straight and Fitzpatrick mucked.
