Iraj Parvizi Leads Remaining 103 Players on Day 2 of Event #67: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed High Roller
The remaining 103 players in Event #67: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed High Roller restart at 2 p.m. today in Amazon Gold to play ten more levels before bagging for the night. A total of 187 entered this $25,000 buy-in event on Day 1, and registration remains open until the start of Day 2.
Iraj Parvizi leads the field with 850,000 chips to begin the day. He is followed at the top of the counts by Michael Kamran (550,000), Artem Babakhanyan (524,500), Gjergj Sinishtaj (508,500) and November Niner Joshua Beckley (471,000), and James Calderaro (466,500).
Anthony Zinno, who won this event in 2015, brings a stack of 172,000 into Day 2. Also joining him is the 2016 runner-up Tommy Le, who just won his first bracelet in Event #54: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed Championship. Le starts the day with 126,500. Other notables to watch for here on Day 2 include Max Silver (402,500), JC Tran (388,000), David Williams (365,500), Roberto Romanello (284,000), Brain Rast (259,000), Sylvain Loosli (240,000), and Eric Wasserson (215,000).
Blinds will begin at 1,500/3,000 today will ten hour-long levels of play scheduled. There will be 15-minute breaks every two hours of play and a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level, or around 8:30 p.m.
