Parvizi Triples Up, Foxen and Beckley Take a Hit

With the board reading , Alex Foxen checked in the big blind, Josh Beckley bet 35,000 in the cutoff, and Parvizi called on the button. Foxen potted it, and after a long pause, Beckley put a stack forward that had both his opponents covered.

Parvizi quickly moved his entire stack in, which totaled 170,000, and Foxen followed suit. Foxen was all in for 277,500 as the cards were revealed.

Foxen was in the lead with two pair and an open-ender. Parvizi had the lower open-ended straight draw to go with his pair of eights, but a queen would give Beckley Broadway. Beckley was also looking for a heart to complete his nut flush draw.

The on the turn gave Parvizi the straight to the ten, and the river changed nothing. Parvizi scored the triple-up, and Foxen took the side pot with two pair, jacks and tens.
