Ka Kwan Lau raised to 8,000 from middle position and was called by Joseph Di Rosa Rojas on the button. The flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {k-Hearts} turn card. Lau checked again and Rojas bet 14,000. Lau called to see the {5-Hearts} land on the river. Lau checked for the third time and Rojas bet 29,000. Lau check-raised to 90,000 and Rojas let his hand go.

In the next hand, Lau raised again to 8,000 and was called by the button and James Obst in the small blind. the flop came {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Lau continued his story with a bet of 19,000. Both the button and Obst called and the {10-Spades} came on the turn.

Obst checked again and Lau bet 26,000. Both players called and the {8-Spades} was on the river. All three players checked this time. Obst turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a jack-high straight, good enough to take down the pot.
