William Kassouf Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

William Kassouf relayed his bustout and the situation leading up to it. "I got three-outed twice," he said, "That was before the dinner break. So I came back with 20k after dinner."

Kassouf said that the same player who three-outed him raised to 4,500, and Kassouf jammed for around 20,000 with {k-}{k-}. His opponent called him with {9-}{9-}.

The flop was a safe {a-}{j-}{10-}, but the turn was a {9-} and the river a {10-}, eliminating Kassouf in 161st place.

Mike Leah Sweats His All In

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With less than one big blind, Mike Leah was all in from the small blind. The player under the gun, Jamie Flynn, moved all in for around 25,000. A player in late position called, and the remaining players folded.

"I've got paint," said Leah, peeling his cards, "And a no-spotter."

Meanwhile Flynn showed {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and his opponent {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and Flynn doubled up.

Leah was still peeling his cards. "The no-spotter's a club," he said, looking at the board, "So that's the {2-Clubs}."

He turned over the {2-Clubs}.

"The other one is black paint," he squeezed it, "It's a club! Flush!"

He turned over the {q-Spades}.

"What?! It looked like a club!" He was eliminated and headed to the payout desk.

Joao Simao Wins With the Kicker

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Joao Simao raised to 4,000 from mid-position, and the big blind called.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and the player in the big blind check-called a bet of 5,800 from Simao. The turn brought them the {J-Diamonds}, on which they both checked. The river completed the board with the {5-Diamonds}, and his opponent check-called a bet of 7,500 from Simao.

Simao showed {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair, tens and fives with an ace kicker. His opponent had {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the same two pair but with the inferior king kicker.

Tobias Peters Eliminates a Player

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A player was all in and at risk at the hands of Tobias Peters. The all-in player held {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and Peters had {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and Peters pocketed the rest of his opponent's chips. His tablemate Melissa Gillett remarked that she also had {a-}{q-}.

"If you call, I shove," she said, and the two exchanged pleasantries about that hand and previous hands at the table.
