Gilani's Jacks Hold For a Double

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Khorchidian Nichan raised to 34,000 from the hijack and Zahir Gilani moved all in for 170,000 on the button. Victor Choupeaux was in the small blind and tanked for a minute before folding. Shannon Shorr was in the big blind and called. Nichan folded.

Gilani was at risk with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} in a coinflip situation against Shorr's {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Choupeaux piped up that he folded two sevens, and the board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, allowing Gilani to double up.
