Fitoussi Tricks Haxton

Level 1 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Bruno Fitoussi opened to 1,400 from the cutoff and Isaac Haxton defended his big blind.

Fitoussi checked-back on the {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, but the fireworks began on the {10-Spades} turn.

Haxton led out for the maximal bet of 3,000 and Fitoussi responded with a min-raise. Haxton processed the situation and called.

The river {A-Hearts} was checked by Haxton, but Fitoussi reached out to his chip stack again. He grabbed 13,000 and threw them towards the middle. Haxton laid his hand down.

Defending Champion Brian Rast Enters

Level 1 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Brian Rast has taken his seat at Table 718, the same table as Matthew Ashton, Abe Mosseri, Harry Madoff, and Brett Richey. Last year, three-time bracelet winner Rast lifted the trophy for the second time in his career and won $1,296,097.

Another player to jump into the action is none other than 10-time bracelet winner Johnny Chan, who sat down at the same table as Scott Seiver, Bruno Fitoussi, Daniel Alaei, and Isaac Haxton.

"Johnny Chan the Master!" quipped an ecstatic Seiver as the poker legend sat down. "There's no room for Phil Hellmuth, though," he added.
