Ashton Makes a Wheel Against Negreanu, Who Gets it Right Back

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Matthew Ashton raised from the button, Daniel Negreanu three-bet from the small blind, and Ashton called.

Negreanu drew one, Ashton drew two, Negreanu bet, and Ashton called. Both drew one on the second draw, Negreanu bet, Ashton raised, and Negreanu called. Both stood pat on the final draw and Negreanu check-called a bet from Ashton.

Ashton tabled {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, besting Negreanu's {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to win the pot.

However, the two clashed the following hand and Negreanu made a {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, getting two bets from Ashton on the final street to essentially nullify the gain and loss from both hands.
