Baldwin Wins a Huge One Then Loses a Small Flip

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Baldwin (as seen in previous event)
Eric Baldwin (as seen in previous event)

Eric Baldwin has amassed one of the top chip stacks in the room and he is not shying away from any action.

Hand #1: David Jackson was under the gun and raised to 100,000. Eric Baldwin three-bet to 255,000 from the cutoff and Gary Sewell called in the big blind, as did Jackson.

The flop was {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and everyone checked to the turn which was the {4-Clubs}. Sewell led out for 350,000, Jackson folded and Baldwin called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Sewell fired out a bet of 500,000. Baldwin moved all in for over 2,000,000 and Sewell tanked on his decision for his remaining stack of 700,000. After some deliberation, Sewell called. Baldwin tabled {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a full house and Sewell sent his cards to the dealer who mucked the hand without showing.

Hand #2: Action folded around to Eric Baldwin who raised from the hijack. Randy Pfeifer was on the button and moved all in for 390,000, Baldwin called.

Randy Pfeifer: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Eric Baldwin: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and the rivered jack gave Pfeifer new life and a larger stack to work with.
