Carrel Doubles Through Peters

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Charlie Carrel shoved all in first to act for what looked to be 760,000, and David Peters called from a couple of seats over.

Carrel: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Peters: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Carrel said he was hoping to see tens, but this would work. Sure enough, {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flopped to give him the lead. The {3-Diamonds} brought a sweat on the turn as Peters picked up a flush draw. The river: {7-Clubs}, safe for Carrel.

In the midst of it all was a discussion about the Voulgaris/Colman hand. Voulgaris swore up and down he had {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, while Colman claimed to have mucked a flush.
