Chris Lee Doubles Through Scott Clements

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Chris Lee
Chris Lee

Chris Lee raised to 700,000 from under the gun, Tommy Le called from the small blind, and Scott Clements re-potted from the big blind for 2,800,000. Lee moved all in for a total of 3,030,000, and Le briefly went into the tank before folding. Clements tossed a few more chips forward to call, and he and Lee tabled their hands.

Clements: {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Lee: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Lee had the preflop advantage with his kings, but Clements picked up a flush draw when the flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. However, neither the {2-Clubs} turn nor {8-Clubs} river was any further help to Clements, and Lee took the pot to double up.

Mio Spikes a Lucky River to Double

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Hani Mio
Hani Mio

Scott Clements raised to 500,000, and Hani Mio called in the small blind. On the {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Mio checked, and Clements bet 500,000. Mio check-raised for the size of the pot, 2,700,000 in total, and was left with just 40,000 behind. Clements reluctantly called, and Tommy Le, in the big blind, was shaking his head.

The {A-Hearts} on the turn saw Mio get his last few chips in, and Clements called.

Hani Mio: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Scott Clements: {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades} on the river improved Mio to two pair, and Clements lost a big portion of his stack. While the chips were sorted out, Chris Lee asked Le, "What's wrong?"

Le replied, "I just made a very disciplined fold," and continued shaking his head.

Clements Chipping Up Further

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Chris Lee raised to 700,000, and Scott Clements called out of the big blind. On the {K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Clements bet the pot, and Lee folded.

Tommy Le limped on the button, and Clements made it 800,000 to go, which Le called. After a flop of {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Clements bet 1,800,000, and Le folded.

Le's raise to 500,000 was called by Hani Mio in the big blind, who then check-folded the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop. Le flashed the {3-Hearts}.a

Jason DeWitt Eliminated in 5th Place ($197,533)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Jason Dewitt
Jason Dewitt

Jason DeWitt raised to 700,000 from the button, Hani Mio called from the small blind, and Tommy Le called from the big blind.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Mio checked. Le made a pot-sized bet of 2,100,000, DeWitt moved all in, Mio folded, and Le called to put DeWitt at risk.

DeWitt: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Le: {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

DeWitt had top pair and the nut flush draw, but Le had the lead with his flopped set of threes. The {K-Hearts} turn gave DeWitt some additional outs to make kings full, but it kept Le in the lead with threes full of kings. The {10-Hearts} river was no help to DeWitt, and Le took the pot to end DeWitt's deep run in this event.

Lee's Broadway Secures Double Up

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Hani Mio raised to 700,000 from the cutoff and claimed the blinds.

Mio limped in the next hand, and Chris Lee, in the small blind, took some time before annoucing a pot-sized raise to 800,000. Jason DeWitt, in the big blind, asked for his stack behind, which was another 415,000, and let it go. Mio re-raised the pot, and Lee called all in for 1,215,000 in total.

Chris Lee: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Hani Mio: {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop gave Lee a Broadway straight draw, and he only had to fear running hearts for a flush. Lee's double was locked up on the {8-Spades} turn, making the {K-Clubs} river irrelevant.

Clements Flops Quads Against DeWitt

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Jason DeWitt raised to 600,000 from the cutoff, and Scott Clements called from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Clements checked. DeWitt bet 500,000, and Clements called. The turn brought the {8-Spades}, and both players checked. The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river, and Clements bet 700,000. DeWitt called.

Clements tabled {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for quad fives to take the pot.

Le Chips Up Against Mio

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Jason DeWitt raised to 600,000 and claimed the first pot after the dinner break. Scott Clements did so the next hand by raising to 500,000, and Tommy Le raised to 500,000 in the third hand coming back. All opponents folded, and Le flashed {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}.

Le limped in from the small blind, and Clements checked in the big blind. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Le checked and folded to a bet of 300,000.

Hani Mio limped in, Le raised to 600,000 from the button, and Mio called. On the {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Mio checked, and Le's pot-sized bet of 1,500,000 won the pot.

Mio limped once more the hand after, and Le raised the pot to force a fold.
