WSOP: Special Obst

James Obst is in the field early having just busted the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Eight or Better.

He is currently sitting in fourth place on the World Series of Poker Player of the Year leaderboard. Ray Henson is currently in first and is still in Day 2 of the $10,000 PLO 8. Obst has four top-10 finishes this year, including a win in the $10,000 Razz Championship for his first WSOP bracelet.

There are likely to be more POY contenders joining the field after they bust from either the $10,000 PLO 8 or the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event that also began earlier today. Below is the current top five of the WSOP POY race.
