With around 10,000 in the pot and the board reading , John Monnette checked in early position, and Mike Gorodinsky bet 5,700 on the button. Monnette check-raised to 13,000, and Gorodinsky moved all in for around 29,000. Monnette called, and Gorodinsky was at risk.

Both players had trip sevens with an ace kicker, but the turn gave Monnette sevens full of tens. Gorodinsky also filled up on the river, but Monnette's boat was better, and the 2015 WSOP Player of the Year was eliminated.
