Lindsay Kido Finds a Call

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Preflop one player raised to 700 before another three-bet to 2,000. Lindsay Kido then four-bet to 4,000 from the blinds. The initial raiser folded and the other player called.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Kido bet 2,000 and her opponent called. The turn was the {k-Diamonds}. Kido checked and her opponent moved all in. Kido had around 7,000 behind and took her time making her decision before eventually calling.

Her opponent turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, but Kido had {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and her aces held as the {7-Hearts} came on the river.

"How can you think that long?" asked her opponent, "You even have the {a-Diamonds}."

"Yeah," replied Kido, "You could have had kings! You've been running like God!"

"Now it's your turn to run like God," replied her opponent as Kido chipped up to around 13,000.
