Daniel Deveau Doubles Through Massoud Eskandari

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

With about 175,000 already in the pot and the board reading {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Daniel Deveau and Massoud Eskandari got all the chips in the middle. Eskandari had the bigger stack by about 900,000, so Deveau was at risk, and the two players tabled their hands.

Deveau held {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair and the nut flush draw, while Eskandari flipped over {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for a double gutshot. The {A-Hearts} on the turn gave Deveau trip aces, and the {10-Diamonds} river gave him a boat to secure his double-up.
