Leah Chips Up but Loses a Race

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Mike Leah had built his stack up to 53,000 but then, unfortunately, lost a race that caused a setback. His opponent raised to 2,000 from under the gun and Leah three-bet to 6,000. The action was folded back around to his opponent who moved all in for around 23,000. Leah quickly called and the hands were tabled.

Leah: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The jack-high board looked good for Leah to add to his chip lead up to the turn, but the {A-Clubs} on the river kept his opponent alive and put a solid dent in Leah's stack.
