Eric Hicks Doubles Through Roberto Romanello

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Eric Hicks got the last of his chips in against Roberto Romanello on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Hicks held {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for top two pair, which was in the lead at the time. The {6-Spades} on the turn and {9-Spades} on the river were no help to Romanello and Hicks took the pot to double up and leave Romanello short-stacked.
