Welcome to Day 1 of Event #46: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better. Today play is scheduled for 10 levels starting at 3 p.m. local time, with late registration open until the start of Level 7 (around 9:45 p.m.).
All players entering Event #46 will be looking to follow in the footsteps of David Nowakowski who took down this event last year for $203,113 after outlasting a field of 732 to win in dominating fashion. Nowakowski was three-handed with plenty of play left in the event against Timothy Vukson and Marco Johnson, but dispatched the pair of them in 15 minutes to win his first WSOP gold bracelet.
