Hold'em

We caught up with Daniel Negreanu and watched him play a couple pots of hold'em, both of which he took down.

On the first hand, Negreanu opened from the button. Eric Buchman raised from the big blind and Negreanu called.

The flop was {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Buchman bet. Negreanu called.

On the {4-Diamonds} turn, Buchman bet again and Negreanu thought a second before calling. The river was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked.

"I just have a pair," Buchman said, turning up {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Negreanu had him beat with the {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and he took down the pot.

Before Negreanu could even finish stacking his chips he was involved in another pot. He opened from the cutoff and was called by Bradley Snider in the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Snider checked to Negreanu who bet. Snider called.

Both players checked on the {10-Clubs} turn and the {2-Clubs} river. Snider showed {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a rivered pair but it was no good against Negreanu's {A-Spades}{6-Spades} for a better pair.
