On a {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Charlie Carrel faced off against two opponents. Carrel was on the button, and after it was checked to him, Carrel bet 7,500. Only the player in the small blind called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, and the small blind checked over to Carrel again. Carrel bet 23,000, and the small blind called.

On the river, the {6-Clubs} came, and the small blind checked once more.

"About how much are you playing?" Carrel asked.

"About one seventy-five," The player responded after looking over his chips for a second.

Eventually, Carrel decided to check again. The small blind sighed, then turned up {K-Spades}{6-Spades} for a rivered two pair. Carrel mucked, and the pot was pushed to his opponent.

"I think an all-in bet is the only bet that would've even made him think," Joe Elpayaa said to Carrel after the hand. Despite losing the pot, Carrel has still had a good start to the day, more than doubling the stack with which he started.
