Silow Busts Paddock

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

With about 65,000 in the pot and the board reading {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, five players were remaining in the hand. Action checked to Robert Paddock in the hijack, and he bet 40,000. The cutoff folded, and Oskar Silow check-raised to 100,000 in the big blind. Action folded back to Paddock, who called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts}, and Silow and Paddock got it in for Paddock's remaining 10,000.

Silow tabled {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and Paddock showed {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Paddock needed to pair the eight or the jack, or Silow's flush would take the pot.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}, and Paddock couldn't improve, sending the massive pot to Silow.
