Tran's Straight Takes it

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Tom McCormick limped from under the gun, JC Tran raised from the cutoff, Ahn Van Nguyen called from the small blind, and McCormick called.

On the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Van Nguyen checked, McCormick bet, and both of his opponents called. All three players checked the {4-Clubs} turn. When the {K-Diamonds} hit the river, it was checked to Tran, who bet, and only McCormick looked him up.

Tran showed {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}, and McCormick asked, "Is that a straight?" Indeed, it was, and Tran's Broadway took down the pot.
