Dan Heimiller's Tens Are Good

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

A player in early position raised, the cutoff called, and Dan Heimiller three-bet in the small blind. The big blind folded and the next two players called.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Heimiller bet out. The next player called and so did the cutoff. The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Heimiller bet again. The next player called and the cutoff got out of the way.

On the {A-Spades} river, Heimiller and his opponent both checked. Heimiller showed pocket tens and that was enough to take down the pot. He let out a sigh of relief that his hand was good.
