Mark Seif Back From the Brink

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Maxim Lykov opened and the small blind called before Mark Seif moved all in from the big blind for just over 40,000. Lykov called and the player in the small blind folded.

Lykov had {a-Spades}{6-Spades} and Seif {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} with Seif’s pair of jacks doubling him up.

Very soon after, Seif saw a flop of {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Spades} and faced an all-in bet of 61,000. Sefi called with the flush draw {k-Spades}{8-Spades} and was up against {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Spades} and Seif hit his spade flush to get a near double again.
