Cary Katz Left Extremely Short

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

In a four-way three-bet pot at one of the tables, Mike Watson drew one, Cary Katz drew two, Brian Tate drew one, and Christopher Kruk drew two.

Two players checked to Tate who bet and the other three players called.

Watson drew one, Katz stood pat, Tate also drew one, and Kruk drew two. Watson checked, Katz bet, Tate called, Kruk folded, and Watson called.

On the last draw, Watson and Tate drew one again with Katz standing pat again. All players checked.

Katz showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} but let out a cry of frustration when Watson showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

"I thought I had him when he checked," said Katz after the hand.
