Chen and Hale Face Off

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Brant Hale opened from the button, only to meet a raise from James Chen from the small blind. Hale called.

Chen took one while Hale took two on the first draw. Chen bet and Hale called. On the second draw, Chen stood pat while Hale took two again. Chen bet and, after thinking about it for a while, Hale called.

On the third draw, Chen looked at the dealer and asked, "There's still one more?" He then decided to stand pat. Hale took one. Both players checked.

Chen flipped up {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and that was good to win the pot, as Hale Mucked.
