Christopher Kostoulas Wins Huge Pot

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Yuhei Sanada opened the action from late position, and Christopher Kostoulas called in the small blind.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Kostoulas check-called a bet of 8,000 from Sanada. The turn was the {q-Hearts}, and Kostoulas led out for 14,000, which Sanada called. The river was the {a-Spades}, and Sanada moved all in, overbetting the pot by some margin and just covering Kostoulas’ stack. There was a fair bit of agonizing, but Kostoulas called.

Yuhei Sanada tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, but it was no good against Kostoulas' {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

A jubilant Kostoulas clapped his hands, and the adrenalin shot him out of his seat, relieved to have made the right call and win a huge pot.
