A Double and a Bust at Table 724

Level 22 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board, James Dambrosio checked and Mark McMillin bet 20,000. Dambrosio responded with a snap-shove and McMillin called. Dambrosio turned over {10-Spades}{4-Spades} for no pair and McMillin showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a straight and doubled up.

The very next hand, Ira Karam was all in on a {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop against Aymon Hata. Hata was in a commanding lead with {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} against Karam's {10-Spades}{6-Clubs} and got the knockout on the {4-Spades} {9-Clubs} runout.

John Richards Eliminates Oliver Fink and Dave Plaskett, Advances to Final

Level 22 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

In the last 10 minutes, John Richards eliminated his last two opponents to advance to the final table.

First, Richards and Oliver Fink got all the chips in before the flop. Fink held {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Richards was way behind with {A-Hearts}{5-}. However, the {A-Clubs}{3-}{3-} flop gave Richards a commanding lead and left Fink drawing to two outs. The {8-} turn and {4-} river changed nothing, and Fink was eliminated.

Next, Dave Plaskett put his last 50,000 chips in the middle preflop and Richards called. Plaskett held {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and trailed Roberts, who held {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.
