Sam Trickett Doubles Through Mike Shariati

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

On a board reading {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, with about 10,000 in the pot already, Mike Shariati piled a fistful of chips into the middle from the small blind. Sam Trickett was in the big blind, and Shariati was putting him to the test for his remaining 6,000 chips. Trickett smiled and called.

Shariati showed first, tabling {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a turned set of sevens. Trickett showed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a flush and was the player at risk. He had to dodge a paired board on the river and was able to do so, as the dealer peeled the {9-Spades} on the river.

Trickett doubled through to 22,700, but Shariati barely flinched, as he is sitting on 40,000.
