Dean Kerl Eliminated in 5th Place ($19,482)

Dean Kerl - 5th Place
Dean Kerl - 5th Place

Dean Kerl took a card on the second draw against Brendan Taylor and he bet out from the big blind. Taylor raised and Kerl called. Kerl took another card, and Taylor was pat. Both checked and Taylor's {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} took it.

A couple of hands later, Kerl raised on the button. Riesenberg reraised in the small blind, and Kerl made it four bets. Riesenberg called and drew one, as did Kerl. Riesenberg check-called and took another card, but Kerl was pat. Riesenberg bet Kerl's last 12,000, and Kerl quickly called.

Both players patted, and they each had an eight-low. Riesenberg showed an eight-perfect, enough to beat Taylor's {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.
