Jon Turner Eliminated in 15th Place ($4,364)

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Jon Turner - 15th Place
Jon Turner - 15th Place

It seems like only minutes ago that Jon Turner was the chip leader, but a hard and fast fall after a rough run of cards has left him out in 15th place.

In one hand, he drew one on the second draw and bet after Brendan Taylor drew two, but Taylor raised. Turner called and stood pat.

"I thought I was pat," Taylor mused.

He threw away a card, and Turner checked. Taylor looked at his holdings and bet, and a frustrated Turner tossed in a call after about a minute of thought. Taylor showed {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, and Turner mucked what looked like a nine-seven that he flashed.

Moments later, Turner, Michael Wagner, and Taylor all drew two on the first pull, and everybody checked. Turner took one, his opponents two, and Turner bet. Wagner raised, though, driving out Taylor. Turner called and drew, and Wagner was pat. Turner checked and folded as he didn't pull the card he needed, saving his last 2,000.

However, he busted moments later.
