Zullo Catches Groth

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Mark Zullo opened from late position and big blind Tyler Groth accepted his 35,000 price to see the flop come {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop ceased fire, but Groth led out 40,000 on the {J-Spades} turn. Zullo called.

Groth placed in another 80,000 after the {9-Clubs} hit the river. Zullo threw in one chip, signaling a call.

"You got it," said Groth, knowing he couldn't win with his {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a missed wrap. Zullo opened {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for two pair, jacks and nines and added another chunk to his stack. He's now nearly level with Groth.
