Alex Foxen Eliminated in 15th Place ($7,988)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Alex Foxen

There had already been a flurry of action by the time Alex Foxen reraised to 79,000 out of the small blind. Darren Taylor was the only caller, and the two players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Foxen moved all in for his last 143,000, and after a few moments of thought, Taylor called.

Foxen: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Taylor: {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Foxen was out in front with his aces and nut flush draw, but the {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave Taylor the lead with two pair, nines and fives. Foxen needed to improve on the river in order to double up, but the {K-Clubs} was no help to him and he was eliminated.
