PLO: It’s Easier Online

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Darren Taylor, the big stack at the table, opened the action for 5,100 and got a call from Christopher O'Rourke and the player in the big blind.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Check to Taylor who bet 9,700. O’Rourke then declared a bet of pot.

Taylor looked interested and said, “I don’t think I can fold.”

There was then some confusion over the exact bet size as Taylor wanted to know how much it was to call, and how much O'Rourke had behind. It was further complicated by the fact Taylor’s bet wasn’t quite counted correctly and it turned out to be a bit larger, 9,700.

That recalculated the pot bet as 45,600 and Taylor went back to doing the maths in his head saying, “It’s easier online.”

The table was breaking and another player called the clock. With 30 seconds left Taylor decided to let his hand go.
