Tung Tran Wins Two in a Row

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Tung Tran
Tung Tran

Tung Tran was all in against Mark Bassaly after putting three bets in preflop.

The board read {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Tran put in his last 22,000 chips for less than a bet. Bassaly called and showed {a-}{10-}. Tran won the hand with {j-}{j-} when the river didn't improve either player.

Then Tran raised in late position and Shane Buchwald three-bet from the small blind. Tran called.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Buchwald bet, Tran called. The turn was the {3-Spades} and Buchwald bet again. Tran raised, but said that he only meant to call, not realizing how much he put in the pot. Buchwald called.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and both players checked. Tran won the hand with pocket queens.
