Bradley Snider Eliminated in 12th Place ($9,085)

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Bradley Snider
Bradley Snider

Bradley Snider has just tripled up with {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in a three-way pot against Shane Fumerton and Sandy Tayi. Snider turned two pairs and won the hand. The next hand he was up against Mark Bassaly, but Bassaly held the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked. They got Snider's remaining chips in on the turn when the {5-Hearts} hit. Snider turned over {6-Spades}{4-Spades} and was drawing dead against the flopped flush of Bassaly.

Shane Fumerton Doubles Through Bradley Snider

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Bradley Snider raised from the button. Nancy Nguyen called in the small blind as did Shane Fumerton in the big blind.

The flop was {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}. It checked to Snider who bet. Nguyen folded and Fumerton raised. The remaining two players got their stacks in with Fumerton at risk and the cards were turned over.

Fumerton: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Snider: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

"So I need to dodge the eight of spades?" asked Fumerton rhetorically, a card which would complete his flush but give his opponent a straight flush.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} and the river the {6-Hearts}, meaning Fumerton doubled up.

Michael Reed has been eliminated in 13th place. Reed led Day 1 and most of Day 2 on his way to his 10th World Series of Poker cash.

On his final hand, Sandy Tayi raised and Reed three-bet in position. Ray Henson was in the big blind and checked Reed's remaining stack before making it four bets. Tayi and Reed both called.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} and the action checked to Reed who bet. Henson raised and Tayi folded. Reed then debated for a few seconds before reraising and Henson raised again so the two would be all in.

Henson showed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Reed, {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The turn was the {k-Spades} and the river was the {4-Spades}, bringing no help for Reed. He was eliminated in 13th place.

Christopher Chung managed to double up when his big blind was more than half his stack. The next time he was the big blind, he didn't have much more than that and he was facing an under-the-gun raise from Shane Buchwald.

Chung raised and Buchwald called, which left Chung with only 2,000. Chung bet 2,000 in the dark and Buchwald called.

Chung: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Buchwald: {5-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Chung was eliminated in 14th place. He earned $7,219 for his finish.

Bradley Snider Chops to Stay Alive

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Bradley Snider raised from the hijack and it folded to Michael Reed in the big blind who inquired after Snider's stack.

Eventually Reed called and the flop came {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Reed bet and Snider called. The turn was the {j-Clubs} and Reed bet again. Snider raised and Reed quickly reraised and Snider was all in.

"I have king-ten," said Reed eagerly.

"So do I," replied Snider as they showed {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}, respectively. There was a collective groan from the table as the pair chopped with the {5-Diamonds} on the river.

Sandy Tayi Wins Big Pot Against Shane Fumerton

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Shane Fumerton limped preflop and Sandy Tayi checked from the big blind.

On a {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop Fumerton bet, Tayi raised, Fumerton three-bet, Tayi four-bet and Fumerton called.

They both checked the {a-Diamonds} turn, and after the {9-Clubs} river, Fumerton check-called a bet from Tayi. Tayi showed {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for trip nines to take down the pot.

Shane Fumerton raised from under the gun, and Jeff Norman raised from the next position. It folded back around to Fumerton who raised again. A total of five bets was all it took for Norman's stack to get into the middle and the cards were turned over.

Norman: {a-}{k-}
Fumerton: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, meaning Norman's doubling efforts were over and he was eliminated in 15th place.
