Eric Baldwin Starting to Roll

Eric Baldwin

Eric Baldwin came into the day with one of the smaller stacks, but he's been able to pick up some blinds and managed to stay alive until the final three tables. Now he's starting to play some poker.

Baldwin raised to 65,000 from the hijack position and was called by the button and Josh Weiss in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, and the action was checked to Baldwin, who bet 85,000. The button folded, and Weiss called to see the {10-Spades} come on the turn. Weiss checked again, and Baldwin bet 180,000. Weiss quickly called, and the {2-Hearts} came on the river. Both players checked, and Baldwin showed the best hand with {A-Hearts}{k-Spades}.
