Julian Stuer raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Maurice Hawkins defended his big blind. They were heads-up to the flop of {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Hawkins check-called a bet of 50,000. The turn was the {k-Spades} and Hawkins led out for 145,000. Stuer called and the {8-Diamonds} came on the river. Hawkins slowed down and checked, and Stuer checked behind him.

Hawkins announced that he played the board but Steur wanted to see his cards. He tabled {6-Spades}{2-Spades} for a missed straight and flush draw, and Steur tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. "You guys play too good in Germany," Hawkins said from across the table. Steur showed no reaction and just stacked his newly won chips from Hawkins.
