Four-Time Bracelet Winner Max Pescatori Eliminated

Level 10 : 1/2, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha:

"What's the next game?" asked Max Pescatori, who was nursing a short stack. Someone moved the plaque to reveal Pot-Limit Omaha. "Yes!" said Pescatori, "Pot, pot pot!"

A few hands later Troy Thompson opened from middle position by potting to 1,750 and Max Pescatori called on the button. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}. Thompson bet 4,000 and Pescatori moved all in for just 500 more and Thompson called.

Pescatori: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Thompson: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

"It's not a bad flop," said Pescatori, "But it's the turn that matters."

The turn was the {q-Clubs} giving Pescatori even more outs meaning any king, seven, eight, deuce or spade would mean he stayed alive. The river was the {a-Clubs} and he swore in Italian before leaving just before the end of play for the day.
