The Bubble Has Burst!

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Robert Bourkney and Todd Taylor got involved in a hand that saw the board read {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} with Bourkney leading out on the turn for what looked to be around 14,000. Taylor was to his left and raised all-in for 60,000. Bourkney took his time but eventually made the call. Taylor showed {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a straight and Bourkney showed {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair. The river was the {Q-Spades} improving Taylor's hand to a flush. The chip stacks were close but once the dealer counted them, it was Bourkney with the shorter stack and was eliminated on the bubble.

The remaining 1,165 players will be guaranteed a cash prize of $2,249 and tournament officials have announced that this is the second largest payout in WSOP history.
