Hands #99-103: Mariz is Heating Up

Level 38 : 300,000/600,000, 100,000 ante

Hand #99: Alexander Farahi raised to 1,500,000 on the button, and Pablo Mariz three-bet to 4,200,000 out of the small blind. Farahi folded to the reraise, and Mariz took down a pot.

Hand #100: Mariz raised to 1,300,000 on the button, and Farahi called from the big blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}, and Farahi checked in the dark. Mariz bet 1,000,000 and took down the pot.

Hand #101: Farahi limped the small blind, and Mariz checked his option in the big. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and both players checked to the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Farahi bet 800,000, and Mariz called to see the river. It was the {7-Spades}, and Farahi bet 1,800,000, which was enough to get Mariz to fold.

Hand #102: Farahi raised to 1,400,000 from the button, and Pablo Mariz reraised to 4,300,000 in the small blind. Farahi folded, despite saying, "This is probably a really bad fold, but you have it."

Hand #103: Farahi limped from the small blind, and Mariz checked. The flop came {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and both players checked. They also checked the {9-Spades} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river. Mariz showed a pair of tens to win the hand.
