Rahim's Check-Raise Fails

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

One of the big stacks Muhammad Abdel Rahim tried using his chips as a leverage, but that didn't go well in a hand against Thomas Lefort.

Under the gun, Rahim opened to 100,000 and faced Lefort's three-bet from the button. He added the required extra 125,000 to see the flop, which brought the {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} on the felt.

Rahim checked to Lefort, who continued with a small bet, making it 125,000 bet. That evoked a raise from his opponent as Rahim counted chips for a min-rase, adding an orange chip on top to set his check-raise to 255,000.

Lefort didn't see fold as an option as he confidently announced, "All in,", sliding his remaining chips towards the middle of the table. It was roughly 650,000, but Rahim didn't oblige.
