Andre Clarke a Magnet for Pocket Aces

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Andre Clarke just informed the PokerNews live reporting team that he had 38,000 chips just 15 minutes ago, but got dealt pocket aces three times in the span of five hands, one of which was particularly memorable.

Clarke limped from under the gun, the player next to act raised to 1,400, a player in late position called, and Clarke reraised to 7,400. Both players called.

The flop fell {A-}{K-}{Q-} and Clarke bet 16,000. The next player moved all in for 44,000, the late-position player folded, and Clarke called for the remainder of his stack. Clarke rolled over his {A-}{A-}, his opponent tabled {K-}{K-}. Neither the {9-} turn nor {7-} river brought the one-outer Clarke's opponent was looking for, and Clarke doubled up.
