Charles "Woody" Moore Just Misses With Jacks Against Sergio Aido

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante
Charles Moore (from a previous event)
Charles Moore (from a previous event)

Charles "Woody" Moore, a member of Team Hawkins, made it 15,000 to go after some initial action. Sergio Aido was in the small blind and called. A third player who already had 3,200 in the pot folded.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Aido checked to Moore. Moore bet 20,000, leaving himself 25,000 behind. Aido thought for a moment before going all in for 30,850. Moore called and turned over {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. He was behind the {q-}{q-} of Aido.

The turn, {7-Diamonds}, and the river, {3-Hearts}, couldn't help him catch up and Aido would win the pot.

Moore then swapped out for teammate Maurice Hawkins.

Team Hawkins is made up for Moore, Hawkins, and Brandon Fish. The team has mostly found success on the WSOP Circuit grind with 18 WSOP Circuit rings between them. Hawkins has the most with 10 total, Fish has five, and Moore has three. However, Moore has almost $900,000 in WSOP earnings. Each player on Team Hawkins is after their first WSOP gold bracelet.
