Brunson Doubles

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Todd Brunson raised in the small blind and Eric Crain defended big. Brunson took two and Crain three. Brunson bet and Crain called. Brunson took on on the second pull and Crain again took three. Brunson put in his last 17,000 and Crain called.

Brunson was pat and Crain knew he was in trouble.

"This hand is bad," Crain declared.

"Then you're f*****," Brunson said with a laugh.

Crain turned over {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and threw away two. Brunson said he was drawing dead and showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, but Crain did still have a live draw to hit a seven-badugi for half. He did not get there, and Brunson doubled up.
