Gronning Crippled Under One Bet

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Badacey

Lars Gronning (big blind) and David Prociak (button) each had 20,000 in front of them after the second draw. Gronning drew two and Prociak patted. On the final round, Gronning bet and Prociak called.

"Ten and a six-badugi," Gronning announced.

Prociak had it beat, though, as he had {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} for a five-badugi and a ten-five low. He scooped and left Gronning with less than one big bet.
