Hughes Scooped by Racener

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

John Racener and Ryan Hughes were playing a decent-sized pot when we showed up to their table on sixth street.

Racener: {x-}{x-}/{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Hughes: {x-}{x-}/{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}

Racener check-called a bet and they took seventh street. Racener checked and Hughes bet. Racener popped in a raise that Hughes called.

"Queens full," Racener said, tabling {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Hughes mucked. Despite the loss, he's run up his starting stack considerably after running deep in the Heads-Up Championship and registering near the buzzer.
